Casa Canada Group started in 1992 with the idea of a single location where businessmen, investors and new residents could come for advice and services they could count on. The concept expanded from the original 21 offices in Casa Canada, adding 21 offices with the construction of Casa Canada Anexo 1, then 46 more with the construction of Casa Canada Anexo 2 and 15 with the addition of the Casa Canada Administration Building.
During this period the Casa Canada Group of companies expanded from office rentals and a travel agency to the administration of the Association of Residents of Costa Rica, offering all types of insurance and medical plans, consultation, seminars, residency, discounts with many merchants, a book exchange and library, internet cafe, courier mail service, legal assistance, customs & shipping assistance, pet importation, business centre services, and searches for credit reports or details on property title, companies or vehicles. There are also social programs for members and an active charity division.
The corporate and financial side of the company offers company incorporation and administration (including nominee companies for ownership privacy), accounting, tax planning and filing, investment administration, mortgage loans, client participation in mortgages and property development and bank account administration.
The real estate division offers properties for sale or rent and a property management company looks after both the holdings of Casa Canada Group and those of clients, both residential and commercial.
Casa Canada Group owns many major properties throughout Costa Rica, including condominium developments, a hotel, an east coast tourism development, office buildings, potential development property and sub-divisions. The company is debt free .
